Earlobes age by sagging and growing longer. With the sagging, some earlobes get thinner and develop creases or wrinkles. Elongated earlobe holes or the actual earlobe hole tears. The condition is made worse, or can be caused, by heavy earrings pulling on the lobes.  Fillers like Restylane or Juvederm injected are ideal for correcting these deformities and returning the ear to its natural look. In some cases the hole for the earring may need to be repositioned after repairing the split earlobe.
