The eyes are one of the first areas of the face to show the signs of ageing, which can be anything from fine lines and wrinkles, hollows and crepey skin. Fillers are a quick fix for the right patient. Youthful eyes look fresh and full because the skin of the upper lids is taut and elastic. But as time takes its toll, the texture and quality of the skin begins to change and the eyes can start to look tired. When we are younger the majority of volume and fullness in the face is found in the uppermost portion of the face. With time, volume begins to dissipate due to a loss of fat, which causes the skin and facial features to start to sag and not look as tight as they once were. By using fillers to give a temporary lift to the skin and muscles we are able to fill it back out to where it once was.
